Dentures are false teeth that might be fixed or removable in nature. Tooth replacement is prescribed when the roots of the tooth become irreparable and the tooth must be removed. Dentures have started to become more real with the advent of synthetic plastic resins and lightweight metal alloy teeth denture. Due to technological advancements, dentures have become more efficient in chewing and crunching. Denture is required only in a case where the patient is suffering from loss of teeth.
Dentures are generally of two types: Complete Dentures, for the full set of teeth and Partial Dentures, which replace a few teeth. Using dentures might lead to the formation of some amount of sore spots in the jaw which will be taken care by your dentist regularly. Dentures also leads to problems in speaking fluently during the initial phase, so the patients are advised to talk as much as they can and practice speaking. Also, unforeseen activities like sneezing, coughing and laughing can loosen up the denture, so the patient should be careful and should try avoiding these as much as possible.
